Who I am...
As a psychologist, I work with clients to achieve a greater sense of well being in their lives. I believe that the mind, body, and spirit of a person are all interconnected. Addressing these aspects in a supportive, trusting relationship helps clients to better understand the basis of problems, promote change and improve the quality of their lives. Confronting unhealthy thinking and behaviors, healing emotional wounds, linking mental and physical health and promoting a more balanced lifestyle are some of the areas that can be explored in therapy.
I received my doctoral degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California. I have a broad range of training and experience and have worked in psychiatric hospital, family counseling and private practice settings. Most importantly, I feel blessed and privileged to be given the opportunity to journey with clients as they learn more about themselves and forge a path that brings about a healthier and more fulfilling way of living.
I am passionate about the field of psychology and continue to pursue avenues to increase knowledge, creativity and treatment options that can directly impact the care of my clients.
